Strings & Stories
Once a month we hire a local venue with a bar and host “Strings and Stories”, a night of popular acoustic music from well known bands and artists. As part of the night, we also host a quiz and present a prize for the winning team.
The night is called Strings & Stories, so at a certain point, somebody will have a short interview about their life and how they came to be a Christian. What made them make that decision, and what was going on in their life at the time?
This night is a great laugh with well known singalong songs and some really interesting stories. It’s free to get in and open to anyone regardless of religion, sexual orientation or nationality. Check out or events page for the date of the next one.
Friday Fires
On the first Friday night of every month, we gather together for an informal night of worship and prayer. The purpose is simply to be in the presence of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through the night.
We sing well known Christian worship songs, but we are always open to the Holy Spirit’s leading and very often end up singing songs that were not on the list. People also bring scriptures, words of encouragement, prayers, or words of prophecy and sometimes we just sit silently in His presence.
This is a place for healing and reflection as well as exuberant praise and worship and many who come along leave refreshed and excited after experiencing freedom in the spirit.
