Lighting Fires is a community of Christians that want to shine the light of Jesus into the world. Take a look at some of the things we get up to below.
Friday Fires
On the first Friday night of every month, we gather together for an informal night of worship and prayer. The purpose is simply to be in the presence of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through the night.
We sing well known Christian worship songs, but we are always open to the Holy Spirit’s leading and very often end up singing songs that were not on the list. People also bring scriptures, words of encouragement, prayers, or words of prophecy and sometimes we just sit silently in His presence.
This is a place for healing and reflection as well as exuberant praise and worship and many who come along leave refreshed and excited after experiencing freedom in the spirit.

At Lighting Fires we believe we can make a real difference in the world by shining the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - Matthew 5:14-16
